chris cheung music

Relax, fall asleep or drift into deep meditation with my ad lib/improvised piano melodies. All melodies have been recorded in 432 Hz, as I prefer the warmer tone of 432 Hz vs 440 Hz for relaxation. After I began improvising and creating my own tunes - playing for other people live, I realized that many listeners who were having difficulty sleeping were falling asleep quickly or having cathartic releases with my music.

prayers on keys

In 2017, Chris intuitively channeled the frequencies of forgiveness and abundance into prayers. These tracks are a musical translation of these prayers into keys, music of the divine.

live sound therapy

Chris trained in classical piano from the age of 4 until he completed his Associate of Music (A.Mus.A) diploma. Later on he began experimenting with live compositions and when he played for others, some of the feedback he received were:

  • "I felt so deeply relaxed"

  • "I had vivid dreams and saw myself floating over mountains and through forests. Incredible"

  • "I used to have much trouble sleeping. I fell asleep in less that 5 minutes playing your music"

He sees the potential of live sound healings and loves to share this gift with the world.

Live piano improvisation music - played live with a Yoga Flow class @ Virgin Active Moore Park with our incredible Yoga teacher Allie Laws, Feb 2018. Ocean scenes shot at the divine Palm Beach, Sydney Australia.

music tuned to 432hz

All of Chris's music is tuned to 432 Hz. He knows that choosing to play a different frequency to mainstream is controversial. His preference is purely based on his own feelings. He feels that 432Hz is a more relaxing, warmer and less present sound, which is fantastic for meditational music.

Tuning for A of 432 Hz is based on Pythagorean ratio of 27:16 and the visual comparison of the waveform below is quite an entertaining hypnotic view.
